So this was actually an extra chapter (there's no official numbering so I went with 44.5 after the last chapter of the volume) published in volume 4, but was never published in the digital source where I usually get the raws from. Timeline-wise, this extra episode takes place after the events of chapter 44.

So here it is. Unfortunately, BookWalker's tankobun digital resolution is pretty low for Kubo-san. Sad days.
